North Shore Hobo pdf Pattern Release

I am so excited to be releasing my next pattern, the North Shore Hobo! This pattern was a labor of love and I am truly smitten with this bag. I am so fortunate to have an INCREDIBLE group of bag makers willing to test for me and I am truly honored that they are willing to sew up my patterns and their bags, just wow! Wait til you see them all!!

The North Shore Hobo is a large sized bag, with two shapes and two ways to carry. Style A has a straight top and Style B has a curved top. Both are traditional casusal hobos, with a slouchy, soft style. They are designed to have a soft drape and a boho style. This is much different from my usual, structured style and I kind of love her.

Both styles have two large, zippered exterior pockets, the full size of the center panel. It also has two ways to carry; with a handle to sling it over your shoulder, or a long adjustable cross-body strap for ultimate versatility. The exterior pockets are easier they look to construct! If you can sew a zip pouch, you can make these pockets.

With a magnetic snap closure, to make it easy to get in and out on the go, and a slip and zipper pocket in the lining for more ways to stay organized. Overall, this is an intermediate level pattern, and you should have some experience sewing zippers and easing curves on bags.

Although it was designed to be a soft bag, it also looks gorgeous with more structure in vinyl, as you will see with some of the testers.

Jenny from Sincerely Jen Patterns sewed up this gorgeous version with vinyl accents, and check out that fussy cutting on the front panel!!

This stellar orange vinyl version is by Charlotte of Les Envies de Charlotte, and isn't in incredible? Charlotte chose to add piping and studs and it's oh so perfect! This is a great example of what the bag looks like with a bit more structure.

I am in love with this version by Natalie! It's so perfect in that Tula and Essex! I love how she used the center panel to showcase a favorite print. Natalie also wrote up a post on her experience sewing up this bag, which you can read on her blog here

Diana of Ackroyd Designs sewed up this super sweet version in soft florals and I love how she used the Emmaline Bags easy strap anchors and added a zip pocket on the back as well!

Chera of Pipbody has my jaw on the floor with this showstopping version in canvas and vinyl. I am swooning over this! It's so perfect!

Wendy of W.D. Handbags made up this sexy little hot pink number and it is HOT! I love her styling of the side connectors! If you know the story behind why she chose the pink and the ladies, it makes it even better! (Hint: it has something to do with the name of the pattern).

Linda made this incredibly classy  version in black faux leather, and it's so chic!

Elizabeth of Cool Lizzie did this posh version in home decor prints for a more elegant look! I absolutely love the colors she chose!

Abbe of Just an E chose to do a feature print on her center pattern as well! I love the colors together with the Essex and her zippers! Perfection as always Abbe!

My sweet friend Amy of Off With Their Threads embroidery design did this super funky version and I love it!

Tara of UhOh Creations made this sweet leather version and modified the side connectors on hers. I love the colors she used on it! It's gorgeous!

I can't thank my incredible testers enough for all their help and their bags are all so amazing!
